Twittering Your Time Away?

With all the current crop of social networks rising on the net what is a person to do? Many corporate executives are now facing the issue of what information to make public in these forums. Anyone with a cell phone or an online connection today has the option of being in immediate contact with many, many people. But is this productive?

For a variety of reasons including time constraints I choose to be careful about those interactions. No Twitter for me. Facebook is OK and I have a page that is barely used. Facebook does keep me in touch with some political pals but most friends use e-mail or the phone these days. Even the White House has a presence on FaceBook these days.

Other social networks continue to arrive in my mailbox with invitations from one person or another. To date I have avoided all of them. Life moves too fast already. Managing another social network is more that life allows for this day.

Peace.
