Today marks my return to work and to a more normal schedule in life (if any such can be expected these days). The greetings were many and fine this morning. I am one of those people blessed with both a great job and a wonderful workplace filled with people who like each other. The support generated among this group is heartwarming to say the least.
Today also marks the debut of Northington Notes. I hope over the course of time to continue observations and commentary on the state of our nation and of our state. This e-mail posting will be sent to any and all who are interested. The goal is to keep alive the hopes and dreams of so many who supported my campaign. We may be down but we are not out by any means. Progressive voices need to be heard loud and clear across our nation and around the world. We cannot make progress by being quiet and sitting on the sidelines.

Life has changed forever. Good changes but changes nonetheless. Experiences in life always make for a new life down the road. One never knows what life has in store down the line. I continue to be excited about the future as the steps in life continue one at a time.
