The Senate Folded

Bailout baloney continues as the Senate last night passed the bailout bill somewhat modified from the one the House rejected earlier in the week. The taxpayers are not being considered relevant any more. Our money is being given away in the biggest financial fiasco in history.

Do we need some measure of financial restoration today? Of course we do. But what Rep. Marcy Kaptur, an Ohio Democrat, said
I will not support this legislation because it's the wrong medicine.
The Senate may have good intentions but this is the wrong bill at the wrong time. Maybe the House will remain resolute and reject this version, too. At least there is that glimmer of hope on the horizon. We taxpayers deserve better than this from our Congress today.

Peace.
