Honor the Veterans

On this Veterans' Day, 2008, let us all pause to remember and to honor our nation's veterans. At the end of WWI this day was set aside as Armistice Day as a day dedicated to the cause of world peace.

Today we take time out to remember the fallen who lost their lives for our country. For all the lost, may you find eternal peace.

To those serving today and to all who are alive today who served in the past, may you, too, find peace in your life. It is with deep gratitude and respect I offer my support to each and every one of you today and every day. Thank you every one.

May we all take a few moments today to remember the needs of our veterans. Medical care, education, and job training are not as available as should be in recent years. We must not forget the veterans of every description as they return home to civilian life. They deserve our attention and support in every way possible.

Peace.
