At long last the day has come. The sun rose today on the first day of the rest of our nation's history. After eight long and dark years we now see light on the horizon. Hope reigns today as Barack Obama takes the oath of office and becomes President of the United States.
We have much work to do now. For eight years we have pulled hard trying to prevent the nation's slide over the brink and into the abyss of abject failure. Now we have a chance to push toward a better nation. The work will not be easy. Hard times are coming yet but we must not lose hope. We must continue to work as hard as possible and stand together to insure a better nation for ALL in our future.
